Fictional training sample · not a real candidate or assessment
The improvement counts are class-level snapshots, not proof that every pupil has made sustained progress.
In this fictional Chemistry example, 12 of 24 pupils answered an initial question successfully and 20 of 24 succeeded on a later parallel prompt after reteaching.
The sample connects a diagnostic check, a teaching response and later work. This gives the mentor something concrete to examine.
The class totals do not show retention or the progress of every pupil. In this example, four pupils still need follow-up.
The candidate gathers a delayed check and matched work. The mentor checks actual responses and uses the evidence in the next professional discussion. Formal judgements remain with the appointed mentor and provider assessor.
SeRS and SeRS-AP provide independent developmental support. They do not award QTS, replace provider assessment or guarantee an outcome. Examples illustrate the review approach; your own evidence needs an individual review.
Request an illustrative sample or ask about a review of your own portfolio.
