Integrity
Honest evidence, transparent standards and professional conduct in every part of our work.
SinoUK International Teacher Development Centre (ITDC) is a professional educational organisation established to strengthen teacher development and educational collaboration between China and the United Kingdom.

SinoUK began in 2019 through the work of Andrew James Greaves, a British teacher with more than 35 years of teaching experience and UK Qualified Teacher Status.
What started as a small, principled effort to connect Chinese schools with the depth of British teaching practice has grown into a sustained professional programme working with schools, universities and educational partners in both countries.
Since its establishment, SinoUK has successfully supported over 20 teachers in achieving UK Qualified Teacher Status through mentoring, professional development and university partnership.
Founded through the work of Andrew James Greaves, a British teacher with more than 35 years of teaching experience and UK Qualified Teacher Status.
The teacher mentoring programme grows across additional schools and subject areas in China.
A dedicated hub is established to support teachers in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The first cohort successfully completes the full UK Qualified Teacher Status pathway with university academic assurance.
Expansion of mentoring, CPD and QTS provision throughout the Yangtze River Delta and beyond.
SinoUK exists to improve teaching quality, strengthen schools and develop internationally recognised teaching professionals through mentoring, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), lesson observation, portfolio guidance and educational consultancy.
A generation of teachers in China and the United Kingdom whose practice is informed by the best of both traditions, whose qualifications are internationally recognised, and whose professional lives are supported from the classroom to institutional leadership.
Honest evidence, transparent standards and professional conduct in every part of our work.
Programmes grounded in scholarship, university partnership and internationally benchmarked standards.
Genuine dialogue between Chinese and British educational traditions — each learning from the other.
The teacher is the profession's most important resource. We build our work around teachers' development.
Long-term relationships with schools, universities and educational authorities, not short-term transactions.
Continuous professional growth from early career through leadership and beyond.

SinoUK was founded in 2019 by Andrew James Greaves, a British teacher with more than 35 years of classroom experience and UK Qualified Teacher Status. His career in UK education informs the standards, expectations and pastoral seriousness of every SinoUK programme.

YangYang Li is the Bilingual Education & Client Support Coordinator for SinoUK International Teacher Development Centre.
Working closely with the Founder and Director, she supports teachers throughout China by providing bilingual communication, coordinating enquiries, and helping educators navigate the professional development opportunities offered through SinoUK and its university partnerships.
“YangYang believes that every teacher deserves clear guidance, professional support and opportunities to grow through international education.”
By bringing together experienced British educators and bilingual Chinese support, we aim to make every teacher's professional journey clear, supportive and successful.
Teachers are the profession's most important resource. Chinese schools are ambitious for their students, and British educational traditions have much to offer in professional standards, pedagogy and assessment. SinoUK exists to bring those two together in a serious, sustained way.
We work with schools, universities and educational partners to promote long-term educational cooperation between China and the United Kingdom — not through short-term programmes, but through mentoring, professional development and university partnership that lasts.

SinoUK aims to become a lasting educational hub — supporting more schools through mentoring, Continuing Professional Development, international collaboration and university partnerships. Our work is measured not in a single cohort, but in the professional lives of teachers over decades.
Whether you lead a school, university or education authority, we welcome conversations about mentoring, CPD programmes and long-term collaboration.
